I taped off the area to protect the finish.  Each of the three pieces of ply was glued to the bridge top after I leveled the bridge fore and aft.  I didn't want to mess with clamps so I used CyanoAcrylate which sets up while I held each piece of ply in place.  With the saddle in the slot, I applied CyA to the ply piece, then pushed the ply piece over the saddle and then quickly removed the saddle to keep it from being glued in the slot.
