Englishman Alliot Vernon Roe and his brother, Humprey, designed many aircraft and this accurate replica of the 1911 Avro Triplane IV was constructed for the movie, "Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines." All pilots for the movie were impressed with its flying ability. Avro produced good aircraft until they closed in 1963.
